Hey Aaron, sticking with the huge rubber out back or downsizing a fraction? Should look good on the street though! Are you gonna run with flares as well or not?

Hi jase,
sticking with back feet would like bigger but thats what its got and no flares as would look funny with tyres under body, should be cool on the street

have you considered bending up a guard lip like the origional one, just bigger, and welding it back on??

Would look less chainsawed?

Cheers.

Sounds practical to me mate... Thats similar to mine - EFI 304 /Supra 5 spd/9 inch B)

ive got what has been cut off by previous owner just need to stretch it so will have original back on when done

Ah that makes sense now mate - seeing the guards all cut up like that, I thought flares - but putting the guard lip back on sounds better with those big tyres. Sweet!

yeah it would be practical Jase but i have smoothed all the bay out, mod'ed the tunnel to fit the T5 in etc. really couldnt be stuffed with hiding all the brake lines, washer bottle, battery etc so i will be going with the factory look with a 355 girlymatic and BW LSD

Just because it has numberplates, doesn't make it legal... We're lucky to put mags on a car without getting defected!
