By moving the plate over did you notice it sitting in the seat? Did it feel weird to have it off centre? Do you reckon it would pass engineering? I looked at doing the same thing but ten mm over looks like heaps! The commo manifold are almost perfect shape!

You deffinately don't notice it in the seat. It doesn't feel off centre at all. As for the engineer, depends I guess on the engineer. Personally I don't see why not, and I know of others that have done and sailed through engineering.
Take note, there are three or four different headers you can get. HSV and Clubsport ones don't fit. They come away from the block too far. I am uncertain which ones mine are, but I will try get you a photo. In the standard headers like mine, it's the flame angle that will make the difference.
Oh and one other thing, the exhaust guy cursed me quite a bit making the exhaust, but it all works, his work is just rough.

[sup]Update. It's now in colour. Got a few runs it so it's back to rubbing. At least it has a good base now, including the back of the doors and guards. I wil now rehang the rest of the parts and get it all top coated as one.}

Hi i just come across this pic. Love the orange. Do you mind telling me the color code as im building a 4 door and looking for colors. Cheers

Yeah this car is frOcking sick.

From memory it is 2k straight orange tinter.

If you read the thread I am sure it says it in there somewhere.

Was going through this thread looking for a photo that doesn't exist, and thought, well I really need to put a photo in this thread with the better wheels.
So, a major thread revival, but here is my car with a much better looking wheel. Maybe a bit common on these cars, but there is good reason for it!
