The old GTR in the showroom pictures ,if anyone has them handy , the engine shot catches a bit of the battery .

Hi

I believe also that there was the battery supplied by "Clyde" with the green GMH sticker on the side. I understand that these were build in Sydney so may have only been fitted to Sydney built GTRs.

Just searched and found this, would this battery be the same as in the S/SL LC's?

The battery in the first pic would be correct for yours, however they did differ slightly from factory to factory, due to alternate suppliers. The XU-1 battery has a narrower case (same as a 4-cyl) to clear the front carby.

There should be no difference between 6-cyl S, 6-cyl SL & GTR as far as the battery is concerned.
