Just to give you update, ended up doing minor mods to corners of wheel tubs and rolling arches. I put MH 245 55 15 drag radials.Attached File  image.jpg   28.67K   49 downloadsAttached File  image.jpg   28.67K   49 downloads

Just the angle of the pic, they fit under guards. But it does sit a little high. The Diff was built by Aussie diffs. 9inch.

Hi Colin,

I was checking out your huge tyres, and couldn't find them Mate,

do you think the 26 should be a profile size like 50, 60 or 70?

I can fit 285/26/15 with the factory tub hard against the rail

I had 245/50/14 under the guards,

by just widening the under rear seat front part of the guard, and using the 6 and 1/8 inch off-set rims

14 x 8 inch rims

Here is and understanding of a standard LC / LJ inner guard with the biggest tyre to fit without too much work.

You can see here, is a 245/60/14 on 6 1/8 inch off-set 14 x 8 rims:-

good clearance under normal guard

Attached File  IMG_5481.JPG   47.15K   16 downloads

just fits in the side space

Attached File  IMG_5482.JPG   32.89K   12 downloads

needs the front of the inner guard moved in at least an inch

Attached File  IMG_5485.JPG   40.6K   16 downloads

plenty of clearence at top of wheel, except the shocky needs moving in at the bottom mount hard up

Attached File  IMG_5486.JPG   25.09K   16 downloads

and just needs a little shut job at the back of tyre, 245/50/14 don't need this bit done

Too many. I blame my deprived childhood for my overcompensation.
Do like the MTs...

Dont believe what rexy says Daz. Its just that he has a very understanding wife.

Didnt see the yellow one but seen the blue LJ and the blue hatch both of which are very nice.

I sold 255 et streets as they were 60series and went for 245 55 15 m&h as they are only 26inch rolling dia.
