This is my 1975 LH SLR3300 which I am in the process of stripping ready for a rebuild. I am staying with the original theme as it is an original car with matching numbers.  Hopefully it will all be done within two years and will turn out very nice. Then the reward of driving it will start

Great start and I love the shed you are doing the work in. Wish I could get stuck into mine like you are yours.
Good luck.

Thanks men, Yes it is pretty clean and fortunately untouched prior. Brad that is my dads shed it was origanally built so us three boys had two car bays each and yes it certainly makes life easier that's for sure. Hopefully there is not to many mice it there. The plan is to have it finished ready for Summernats 2016 as a lot of us Dun Rooten Racing boys are driving our pride and joys across. I want to have it finished about a year prior so I can drive it to make sure there is no gremlins.

I appreciate this build thread! Looks tops

Need to address the above comment. Obvious going for the nostalgia bomber and willing to sacrifice any future performance aspersions in keeping the Holden six......

People like the above lunatic are purely living in fear of the earth shattering performance of the holden six.

When you remove the LX badge from the grille, there was someone on here chasing one you may be able to sell it to.

Sorry men but the Grill badge stays and those of you who underestimated the performance of a six it will have enough power to overtake when we finish with it.

I was going to say the same thing as brad, LH had the TORANA on the nose cone with out the badge.
That was LX. But your car you can Do as you please.

Brad it will be pretty much original. The original TORANA individual letters batch is going back but I like the Lion in the Grill so that probably will stay also. I still have my original written off LH SL Even though it is a bit bent and it had the original LH badges but I kind like the LX Badge in the grill to break it up I will make that decision when we are putting it back together.
