Hi All,

just wondering if anyone has brought these or seen these in the flesh?

http://www.ebay.com....984.m1438.l2649

I am thinking of getting a set and I am interested to know if anyone has tried a 15 x 8 with 225's under the rear of an unflared LH/ LX Torana?

I did speak to the guys and they say that they MAY rub and it's up to the buyer to make that choice..

Otherwise I am looking at a full set of 15 x 7's with 195/55R15 on the front and 225/50R15 on the rear.

any thoughts would be appreciated.

cheers

Mick

I don't mind that wheel

And am looking for something similar myself for the sedan (one day)

Might go with Wheel vintiques Rallye 2 or some actual Pontiac wheels from Jeff the yank though for the cost difference

Haven't added the total cost of 4 wheels, caps, chrome trims and freight together yet though

If you want to go larger in diameter...the 17" cast aluminum ones from year one look really good I reckon at least, I've shipped a bunch over for a member here..

As for steel ones...that is easy Neil... ;)

(and I ship over steel wheel outers too...we supply quite a lot there, so getting most any width to modify an original set is no big deal either)

Are these outers to suite the 14" or 15" centres?

Both....my mate is Mr.Lugnut there, and he does lugnuts obviously along with wheel outers...Wholesale pretty much, but I buy/ship over quite a few pallets at a time of all sort of 14" and 15" outers, some 16's as well even.  (and alloy outers as well)

I think for my application I'd prefer a steel wheel

And yes they do those ones I posted in a 10" wide

I've also been looking at the Year one 17' alloys that Jeff mentioned. Yes, I reckon they are pretty good too but they don't do a 17'x10'. Bugger!

I took a look at some Cragar ones today

All steel construction , chrome lips , takes GTS cap

About $350 each on 15x8

Not sure if 7's would be better on an unflared LH sedan though

I recall there being another alloy version>>> just can"t remember the name atm

Thats them

Up close they looked alot more GTS than sprintmaster to me

But I don't look at lil cars often so hard for me to judge

Reasonable brake clearance inside them too which might be a factor for my sedan
