Hi Ryan

Good work mate, great to see a father and son getting into a project.

Looks like you only have the Compliance plate which doesn't have the Vin number on it, only the chassis number and build month.

In the following pic there are holes in the firewall where the GTR triangular throttle bracket should be. Did you remove it? Was it spot welded on or bolted on?

Cheers

Dave.

ahh, okay thanks for clearing that up..

I will ask dad and see about the bracket

Ryan

Camstrip, nearly every paint store should have it, its about $40 for 4 L

Okay some more pictures..

This looks to be about 80 hours into the build and just started on the front end (what an effort the front end was!)

Loving your work mate. Your old man is obviously a panel beater? Pretty handy :D

Looks like you've got a good handle on the board files as well, looking forward to seeing this one progress :spoton:

did ask dad, but its been over a year since we pulled the car apart and can't really remember..

The car had been in a crash and the whole front end was off another car so who knows..

I can see the GTR throttle bracket in this pic, the end of the GTR throttle rod is resting on it.

i think it was spot welded on but i really cant remember..

Should have left it on there as it was a very good identifier of it being a real GTR, esp when the Vin and body tags are missing..
