Looks like a nice original SS.  :D

 

Thank God you didn't put flares and a drop tank on it otherwise people would jump on you for wrecking an original car. :gun:

 

But seriously, well done mate. :spoton:

 

Any spec's / details on the motor and running gear.

im not 1 for original.

though yes this is  originaly a factory ss. factory 6cyl. in tuxedo black.

now it is far from that.

engine is a 355 stroker with full msd

supra 5 speed

borgwarner diff. 3.08 ratio

most original holes filled. eg. locks, engine bay holes, bumpers. antenna

full custom interiour lots of bits to mention.

custom windscreen wipers with jets in the arms. custom washer bottle fitted inbetween the door and gaurd,

custom thermo fan assy.

custom twin 2.5" stainless exhaust

very nice. definately stands out. i have to ask you, what did you use on the underside of your bonnet. ive heard of mirrors, stick on film etc. but curious what you used

it is a polished  stainless mirror much like public toilets ect.

just use a nibbler to ruff cut then linish to shape. wrap the edges in a u channel rubber and sika flex into place.

castle headers. there very tight. full custom would be the way to go if i do them again

There looks like there has been a lot of thought and work put into this car. I like the the design on those door trims, I will be watching this one.

yes to many hours led into days weeks years and a decade later i finish. finish lol.

do we ever finish.???

just an update,

got my exhaust finished and fuel pump relocated. pump can be seen in the backround.

also the template to sort out the angles etc for the bends.
