G'day,

Not sure where this goes but ill try this section first. Does anybody have any suggestions for Torana, or other aussie muscle wedding car hire for ANZAC day in 2014?

Suggestions and rough idea of what it would cost would be much apopreciated.

I have usually charged $400 for my Monaro in weddings if l don't know them. If l do know them price depends on how well. Been plenty if free ones also!!

Do you usually offer it as a service or something you do occasional?

Are there any reputable mobs in melbourne?

Cheers

It's not so much 'muscle', but if you want 'early classic' - the EH Limo is available for hire. Here's their website: http://www.ehlimo.com.au

For Torana's and Muscle Cars in general - you'll probably find in most cases that they are word of mouth hires, as opposed to official 'business' hire cars. I'm not aware of any professional businesses, but I'm sure they would exist. Google is your friend.

Here's our wedding cars from way back in 2007.... great memories! (These were all my mates cars). All were big cube V8's except for the Limo which runs an EFI six. Had an absolute ball cruising around with this convoy. I felt like a gangster fat arming it in the rod.

My wife and I used the gold hot rod for our wedding from the link below. I can tell you they do a 1st class service and I highly recommend them. You just dont get better hot rods imo, they are spotless.

Is this for your wedding? If si I'm sure a few can band together to help out. I wouldn't have a problem with it if mine tickles your fancy, although it is a coup. If its not yours, that's a bit different. I have done many many weddings on my Harley. It can be great fun.
Anyway just a thought

It's actually my brothers, of which i am best man. Im not really sure of my responsibilities but he did ask me to look into it. For the women i think they are more interested in something prestige. For the grooms party i would say something more along the lines of Aussie muscle. I've googled it but haven't really come up with anything of that nature in Melbourne. Were prepared to pay the price, just a matter of finding something appealing.

The Harley would be a thrill. Imagine a bride on the back of one in her dress!

Thanks for the help and thoughts.

the bride on the Harley would be a pi$$a. we normally work as escorts to keep the car procession together, especially on roundabouts and pulling out into busy traffic.

Hi Judgelj,
This mob is currently advertising on Gumtree for Torana Wedding Car Hire - located in Melbourne.
http://toranahire.com.au/

Would be interested to know what they charge. I used my LJ GTR as my wedding car (was just finished in time). Unfortunately I wasn't allowed to drive it on the day in my dress 😜
Cheers, Erin
