She is here from South Australia.

1978 UC SL delux

All the options including 4W discs :D

Very minor rust spots and I'm the 3rd owner, well looked after no dents or damage etc....

Starting with WA rego with the 6 pack and 4 speed.

Next step started with EFI 308 and 5 speed.Attached File  995137_10151741807383821_1485046194_n.jpg   97.3K   8 downloads

Interesting car, more pics? Looks like a good base.
There was a stand alone "deluxe" badged special edition but cannot remember what model it was.
Might have been like a TA and again in another later model, anyone remember?

Is it a DELUXE? I thought they were Sunbirds. The other DELUXE's that I know of were HJ Kingswood sedan and ute.

Hi Guys

The top end of the car was painted black at some stage, wasn't a good job and the black paint is peeling off and the origanal colour is comming through, recon if i hit it with a high pressure cleaner it will come off.

I found the car on an auto dealers web site in SA after searching for a car in WA, I found 3 here, 2 out of the 3 were wrecks and the other was a painted rolling body priced way toooooo high.

Update, got it inspected and a few minor defects wrere picked up, basic stuff, the inspector was surprised how good the condition the car was. so she failed first time, all defects completed apart from renewing all rubbers. He pick on a ball joint but i thought if I'm going to do this I'm going a full front/rear suspension rebuild. 2 out of the 4 ball joints were suspect, origanals too.

I have submitted the Modification forms, we will see if i get approval to go ahead with the V8......fingers crossed.

More pics soon

Hi madtoranajzedded, I have had the brakes renewed, she already has a dual diaphram brake booster and 1" master cyclinder, ready for the V block. Doing most of the changes/repairs myself, mainly after market stuff bolt on upgrade, but keeping all documentation to show the engineer for approval.
