End up perservering with the rares lower
fender replacement panel.ended up welding
an extra 5mm onto it where it was short on
lhs.bloody panel moved when spotting into
place dammit it.and pulled itself inwards.

It will be okay though as will have blackouts along bottom.needs a little more grinding on
weld line and some bog it will be good

Cut the damaged rear sill out. por 15 inner
sill.i cut away most of the damaged section
then screwed it to sill and cut straight though
along top and rhs.i cut lhs first then put sill hard up against cut as i was thinking the gap
might be too big it worked out well when i cut
I have amm gap right round. The rares sill took some massaging to get right.had to drill holes high on lip of replacement panel as if i
drilled them in middle it would of missed the inner sill lip behind it.

Hi gents.i need some help.im a little lost
as in what to fill small areas over epoxy
4110 where i have grinded the small studs
that use to hold the strips and where the SL
badge use to on fender etc..
Im not going to paint car till nxt summer in
jan or feb 2019 (hopefully) but want to at
least do some small repairs that i can and
leave a couple of bigger dents for a body
shop and get body close to ready by that time..

Im uncertain to use bog or spray putty as my
thinking is i will create ripples from sanding
the bog as area is very small..

I have some upol dolphin glaze self levelling,
would this b more suitable for this
application,as i should b able to get it on flatter with less sanding.or 2k spot putty?
I have also used some bog over the epoxy and
have sanded it flat and got a little carried
away lol and sanded the whole guard with 180
so i could see the highs and lows.im not sure what grit to sand epoxy..if i can use the dolphin, sand it flat with what grit.i want to reprime whole guard and leave it till this time nxt yr..

I have some scotch brite pads to sand the
small areas in pic below.the 2 bare spots
were high as never grinded the weld down
enough.you can see what i mean how small
the 2 are underneath.they are like that on
guard.

They are as follows maroon 7447, grey 7448
Charcoal 7446 and Tan 7440.which one
should i b using,,

Cheers maz

I decided not to do the small marks etc
what i mentioned above, and have been
gradually getting all the car in epoxy.
Otherwise im going to b all over the place lol

Took the drs down to a dude and sand blasted
them ,50 buxs a dr only dr jam areas and
backs of them blasted.he did do around the
front edge of them when i told him not to.no damage so he was lucky..rust in all corners
of drs,2 had pinholes and no matter how i
tried to mig hole i couldnt get rid od it lol then others appeared and was chasing them in
the corner till i said frOck it..i cut it out
and found the culprit.
Used a tan scotchbrite pad to take the edge
off the blasted area in dr jam and dr card
area so i could wipe it down with prepsol
then used the wizzer using 80-180 grit on dr
skin ready to epoxy..

Thanks Marty 😃

Found a heap of garnet from blasting under lhs guard and had to sand it near right back to
get rid of it.not the first time its happened..
No matter how much you try and blow it all out
you still get it in areas...shit it is..

As you see while im on the guard the lip has
been cut and want to cut half away to tidy it
up.i think i have to keep some there as it
will most likely weaken it a little..
