This is the final chapter in Pop’s Weird View of ToranaFest so where do you start
With that bloody early morning rise and not shine, (especially for an old fart) and head off to the Fest
Got up at the Sparrows Fart and couldn’t get in
Had to line up but the view was nice
Once we got in and set up, it was time to go and get the goodies bag but I go mugged on the way back by these 2 nasty lookin’ characters
Some of the entertainment left a lot to be desired and all the HVTC could come up with was some clowns driving around in a golf buggy.
Maybe they should have stayed at the circus
Then they decided for us all to play the game “Simon Says”
Simon Says “Put your hands on our head”
Simon Says “Put your right hand in the air”
This poor ol' fella dunno his right from his left, he even has to have his name on his shirt so he doesn't forget it
Simon Says "Hands on hips"
This is getting a bit boring, puts some people to sleep
Ok, that was boring, so how about we tilt the front of my UC MY LH forward, will only take a moment or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 minutes
If you want a lift just hop in the back
AND you can put your luggage in the boot
If you ever need directions at the Fest, the best person to ask is of course a taxi driver
This fella should have asked the taxi driver directions as he turned up in this old humpy
One last thing to complain about and that is the graffiti artists that seem to turn up at each Fest
AND that is my stuff that the lovely Bev Brock is signing
Before I end this rambling dribble, my special item for my display was the Broadcast Sheet (build sheet) from Brock's 79 race car.
It will not be shown again as I feel ToranaFest is the only event that it would be appreciated at.
Perusing it over is John Sheppard, MHDT manager 1978-79
Many thanks to Pete Morris and his band of helpers that always put on a great weekend.
Can't wait till 2015

PS .... There was one other (young) person that was a tad bored with the day, mainly because his dad was busy talking business, in fact he could talk the ears off a field of corn
