Hi everyone,

We are an Austalian made business, located on Glenbarry Rd in Campbellfield, Victoria. We create custom made glass for classic cars. It has been extremely difficult work, and it's not easy finding customers and keeping our product perfectly made and scratch free. However, after working carefully and using different techniques, the quality of our product has improved dramatically. What we need now is for the word to get out that we are available as we have very few customers.

We make glass for Toranas, as well as many other cars.

There are many of you who are restoring your valuable cars and the final product may be flawed due to putting the old scratched glass back into your project.

We are here to help you perfect your restorations. Please help us in return by letting others know we are here.

Our website is www.vehglass.com.au visit our Contact page to view a price list or get in contact to put an order in today.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, we hope to hear from any of you soon.

hello jennifer.

How about a front windscreen with built in demister. I have a racecar project that could use one.

Welcome to the forum.

Hmmmm, noted.

Must ask, under LC/LJ, you only have "front door glass" listed, no definition between 2 door and 4 door, I trust this is sorted out in ordering?

Also how dark and what color is the "tint" option?

I presume this is tinted laminate between the two glass portions in a laminated glass side window and not just tint thrown on?

Cheers.

Would be awsome if they could do this with the metallic film demister like trains have on their windscreens so they still look like clear glass.  Infact would be great to get all the glass done so it all demisted.

I have used there glass for my wind ups in my hatch and the rear hatch glass. At the time they didn't make quarter glass or windscreens.
They had tint and clear. They delivered It to my door and they fit great.
Funny thing was I purchased them through another company but these guys actually made and supplied. At the time the other company made out hey manufactured the glass.
None the less, it wasa good product and well priced

Sorry to dredge up an old thread but it seemed appropriate...

Can I get custom rear quarter glass for an LX hatch without the holes? Are the holes normally drilled or formed when the glass is molten?

I want to delete the hinges & latch and urethane the windows in both sides, is there any legal reason these windows have to open?

Would there be any structural issues with body flex having zone toughened glass glued in?

Will you be producing more old Mazda glass?

Plenty of people are chasing old rotary glass now all the way through from R100 to probably RX7. I know some glass is available, but a superior product would certainly see you grab some market share ;)

Hi guys!

Sorry I haven't been on here in a while to see all these replies, thanks for showing interest in us.

Hey Bomber,

That price list is super outdated and pretty simply made. When ordering, specify whether you need coupe or sedan and we can sort you out easily :)

Thanks

Jenn

Hey Bigfella!

You most certainly can get rear quarter glass without the holes made, though it requires a production time of roughly 6-8 weeks, as the holes are cut before the glass enters the kiln for tempering. I'm not sure how this would affect the legalities of the car, sorry! Maybe someone else on here could help?

Hey again Bomber!

The tinted option is the Green Factory tint, which some air conditioned early model cars have, it is our most popular tint which is why everything priced has that option. There is also a Grey option, though it is a special order and may cause a small price increase.

thanks for your questions :)

Jenn

Morning ido09s,

At the moment we have RX3 coupe and sedan sets available, as well as rear screens to suit the RX3 with DEMISTER that I found the other day hiding in a corner (pretty exciting stuff). We also have originals to suit RX4 Coupe. We need original glass most of the time to create the products. If there was a demand for later models and customers willing to help us with producing them by supplying their originals we could most certainly supply glass for all the early Mazdas!

Thanks for your enquiry,

Jenn
