I tried using the wanted section but it doesn't work for me? Maybe I don't have enough posts? Anyway, I'm back in Oz for a few weeks and thought I'd try and source some parts. I need:

the lock assemblies for both front and rear doors, that's all the rods, clips etc except outer and inner door handles (a long shot I know)
A drivers side front window regulator
Boot lock assembly
C pillar roof gutter trim
Rear door jamb relief vent things (4 door ones)

I'm in Perth if anyone is local?

Thanks!

Just looking back on your posts - do you recall the height difference between the front & rear tyres?

The rear door vent seals you can now purchase at rare spares if that helps.

I can't remember the exact dimensions but I think the fronts (225/50/15) are roughly 24" and the rear (275/50/15) 25.75". The fronts are a bit weedy, not wide enough and not enough profile but I can't get 245/50s.

I was in rares yesterday and they only do vents for the hatch not sedans :( They're not sure if/when they will do them for the four door. I am tempted to try and fab up something simple to cover the holes.

Sooo, after a nice sunny holiday in Perth I have managed to source some parts I was desperately needing. I hit up Rarespares in both Ossy Park and Welshpool and got lots of small things that'll fit in the suitcase. The gentleman in rares told me about a Holden wreckers in Canning, after a trip there I got heaps of small fiddly things I was missing. I couldn't get a dash pad but got the lower dash bit, I've no idea how I will get that back home but will work it out somehow.

Ah the pain of working on a car from another country! After buying a house and building my dream workshop, the progress continues.

I more or less got the 9” conversion done, the fabricated “A9X” bump stops to suit the ride height and wheel size, and I have the brackets tacked for now.

I got the Nissan 4 pot conversion done on the HQ discs, I used HEL braided lines for a 300ZX and used banjo fittings.

I bought some cheap but good seats and fabricated the mounts.

Now I am missing some of the door rods that connect to the handles, so being in the wrong hemisphere I thought I’d make these rather than ship them over. I had a front and rear doors worth so I had these for templates. Using 3 and 5mm rod I think these work ok.

I’m missing the “boomerangs” that operate the door pull up, so I gave this a go as well.

Next I think is brake plumbing then wiring.
