Hi guys struggling to find info on what tyre size to go on my lj i have convo pros 15 by 6 front and rear so I need to know what max size to got on the rear end and what smallest size to go on front I have standard brakes and it is not rubbed and has standard diff.So people suggested goin 15 by 7 on the rear but after purchasing that the rim was sticking out way to far pass the qtr so I opted to go 6 inch right around and info will be great

dattoman is correct.the backspacing is why the 7s wont fit.should get an 7 under there no problems.maximum for 6 inch tire is 8 inch,an inch each side of rim, this includes sidewall width.so you will be lookin for an 7 inch in tread width, something like a 215 ,someone will correct if im wrong.

cheers

I have 225/50 on the bum on a 7" rim, very happy with it.

And have 195/55 on the front, looks a touch small dia wise compared to the rear, wish i had gone 195/60. 6" rims on the front.

I think 225's would look a touch baggy on a 6" rim, depends on how OCD you are....Im up there in the OCD stakes, EG i think those front tyres look to short, and wouldnt be able to handle it, and would stick to 205 max on a 6" rim personally.

Cheers.

lol.billet wheels makes no difference,a rim is a rim mate, its all to do with your backspacing, get your car off the ground and poke your head under and see how much clearance you have between the sidewall on tyre to shocky, inner guard etc, then you will know how far you can go in,to me bombers car has not got a shortened housing,as you see hes running 7s and the car  is sitting nicely
