Starting to put my interior back together on my late 1977 SS and due to wrecking so many hatchbacks over the years i have a box full of rear fold down hatch seat hinges , there are 2 different types one pair has 94 and 95 stamped into them and the other type 09 with a line under the number and 10 with a line under the number , they are different sets one is more off set then the other , i suspect one type might be uc.
Can any shed some light on this subject of which type is to suit late 77 LX?

Well, thanks to Hanra as go-between, I have gotten myself a set of LX (94/95 stamped) rear seat hinges for the hatchback.
Thought I would post a few images to show the difference between LX (satin black in these images) and UC (09/10 - gloss black in these images) for posterity.
The photos show the pivot height of the LX hinges differs to the UC and (as it turns out) this is important if you want the seat back latch to line up with the ^ shaped rod on the wheel arch.
Also (as it further turns out) you can't mix and match LX with UC - again issues with the latch not aligning, but also causes the seat backs to tip inwards in the centre.
Inner hinge - LX on top;
Inner hinge - UC on top;
Outer hinge - UC on top;
Outer hinge - LX on top;
I'll have a go at installing the seat backs tomorrow - fingers crossed it all works out!

I know this is an old post but what are the chances of you having a spare hinge for the flap on the rear of the rear seat in the hatch???

I lost one :( can't for he life of me find the little F@%$&*()$ thing.
