Reminds me of Cameron Sinclair's accident and coma trying the double backflip at Madrid Red Bull X-Fighters.
The Doco TWICE on his recovery is well worth watching the guts of a guy who nearly died and was lucky enough to walk again let alone ride.

People ,never ever underestimate the power of the brain to make adjustments .Doctors Know very little of how it can rejuvinate itself when it has to.If there is a heartbeat you have hope .

I will be honest I really didn't think he would ever leave since it had been so long and no real flow of news.
I just hope he comes out of this whole nightmare and can live a full life. Now if Daniel can win this race it will make my week complete.

Yeah but it is good to hear he has made progress.
I'm guessing we won't know what condition he is in for quite some time.

Lost about 1/3rd of his body weight from my memory of the report. One good thing is that he is very fit and is very strong minded, so with luck that strength will bring him back to live a good quality life. Obviously be great if its 100% recovery but big hits to the head are notorious for side effects.

I heard on the radio this morning that he is communicating with his family by blinking so unfortunately it sounds like it will be a long road back for him.
He certainly has plenty of determination so good luck to him.

I heard the Schumacher family are suing GoPro.... something about the mounts weakening the helmets structure.... I would think if anyone new anything about helmets, and the effects stickers or paint may have on helmets, it would be a Formula 1 driver ... but these day's blame has to handed out, so we'll see........ Living life is dangerous, even for sport stars... all the best with his recovery though...

Are they actually suing them though?
I read that the stock price had dropped because it is alleged that a gopro may have contributed to the extent of the injury?
What stocks haven't dropped lately though?
