wow, big ferry!

Jacob, don't know if you know or not but there's actually 2 ferry's. Not sure how many cars they can fit but it a lot more than I think we'll need.

22nd looks like a good day for it and be nice to get a few more. I might be able to make it yet i'll talk to my boss in the next few weeks and see if I can have a day off, or night should I say.

On another note my car is coming along well and should have the new GTS mirrors on next week and the new door trims.

22nd it is.

Which servo?
My vote would be one on the right side of the freeway, makes it easier than going past it by 10km then coming back like someone I know had to do ;)

Maybe the Shell just near the Point Cook exit?

Good question

Post your vote for direction guys.

I think Darren and Macka were both keen to head back to the beach like last time. I'm not stressed.

We could always give you a call as we left the Shell Wayne to save you back tracking. Your choice, if you get the day off that is

I think heading to Geelong would be best for most guys. I like the idea of going on the ferry and making a day of it but I understand it may not be for everyone.

The Shell is fine with me I am only in Tarneit anyway. Is that the one with the Maccas next door on the westbound side?

I am sure I can get the day off as things are a little slow at the moment.

My first preference is to do the round the port phillip run but I'm easy.

On another note I just finished the door trims and the gts mirrors went on yesterday so the cars ready.

Hey Wayne, door trims and mirrors (sports not GTS - refer other thread. lol) look great. We need more pics of your rocket on these pages :)

I'm really not fussed where we go.  Just be glad to get out and driving :D  I'll follow the crowd.  If I had to vote, then I'd vote we do the same run as last time....maybe have lunch somewhere other than Freestones if it's too packed.  The pub in Lorne/Angelsea could be alright or even just fish and chips by the cars with a bit of shit talk in a big carpark by the sea somewhere  :stirpot:

For the life of me though....what servo are you blokes talking about?  Can we get a screen shot of a map?

Servo- on the Geelong freeway, just past Laverton, you go under a couple bridges, then a straight, the road goes round to the right and the exit is just there. I'm pretty sure its the first Point Cook exit. There is two or three, but confident it's the first.

Yes, the one with the McD's. Or somewhere else, makes no difference to me. Then on to Geelong to meet he others :)

Yeah the guy done an excellent job, I would recommend George to anyone. Only cost me $320 for all four too. I couldn't be happier as they come up better than I expected.

Ok guys. I'm now up and running again, and confident in my engine this time.
So I'm of the thought that
Meet in the morning around 9:30 at a servo west of the Westgate Bridge
Cruise down through Geelong to meet Macka and others
Head down to Lorne for fish'n'chips by the beach
Cruise back home with a stop on the way to have a beer and talk my shit!

Sound right?

I'm keen and looking forward to it now :)

By the way, hope nobody minds, but this time I will have my wife and child with me. Don't worry, they are fun and enjoyable too ;)
