Putting it out there for suggestions to renew the rubber in the window channels.
These are the channels that secure to the bottom of the windows which then attach to the winding mechanisms.
I am having trouble sourcing replacement rubber in a similar shape.

This is the channel which is "adhered" to the bottom of the sliding window.

Hi Go onto ebay.com U.S. site and type in glass setting tape there is lot of sites to choose from just got to work out the size you want.( thickness )

Thanks Ted, looks like that will work.
Choosing the right tape might be difficult
Sure by the shape of the u channel on the Torana it is a standard rubber part.

Thanks Steve. That looks like it. The 1.5mm is the same dimension as the original.
Will call them Monday..

Just finding out not many people have attempted to re-do these rubbers properly.
All a big learning exercise as I am fitting new windows all round.

Just curious as to the profile of the rubber, the pictures aren’t clear, are they similar to the original Holden?
