Sounds like the ole 202 is doing it's job nicely at tearing everything else apart, That's usual when you have a 6 pack Tony... Seriously must me putting some power through the rear end & damn heavy on both your clutch & loud pedals... "Are You Sure There's No Roll-Backs Being Performed"... I would re-weld the things back on to make sure they are no longer the weak link... They're only spot welded on so if not too bad then drill out the spot welds, straighten and weld back on using Mig if ya can get your hands on 1... Failing this or if it's too badly damaged to repair then start looking around for rear floorpan section with them already attached... Hope this helps......

I've had the same issue in my HJ. As above, I welded them back where they came from and added a few Banjo crownwheel bolts to keep them there.
Oh by the way, I found this problem with the 179 in it. No 'rollbacks' or anything pathetic like that, just good traction and a well sorted 'smallblock', as I now have the 'bigblock' 206 fitted..

so a good lesson here for me is to weld them up before we Race them,
I say Marty should check that out, and I will look into it as well,
Great work. Dave I

If so, that then moves the flex which can happen the arm into the body.

My problem was way before I boxed my arms. I keep an eye on the floor to make sure nothing else eventuates.
Oh, should have boxed them years ago, so much better in the corners.

I just had a thought when you posted this Dave,
Those new style arms you can replace the old type boxed one's with, are made from round bar, with a threaded adjustment threaded rod and fastening nut,
I was thinking how the cornering stresses could unlock the nut and the strength would disappear hey,
meaning, the thread would just turn in the rod instead of staying taunt like a Boxed one. Dave I

Not to mention costing a hell of a lot more too!
