Defiantly not called torrie. We used to chastise people for that girly weak name. All the old school I know don't go for that but that's just us old farts.

TOY-202 is referred to as "the blue car"
The Mini is called "Mindi"
Most the others are just called what they are, "Hilux" "UC" "HZ" "HB"
The boat is either called "The boat" or her actual name "Six Appeal"
The Harley is called "The Harley"
The KZ/CBR frankenstien is called "The KZ"
The CB 125 is called "The CB"
Yeah, im pretty unimaginative.....
Cheers.

Named my hatch "SHIDDA"
It was a bit of ordinary when I got it.
Its now been painted & trimmed.
But the name has stuck, has a sticker on the back window also "SHIDDA"

Years ago I always had a cheap run around car that was called the pubby or the shita
that you could leave at the pub or anywhere without a worry.
That's the only ones I can think of over the years.

My UC is called Lazarus. I put this link in with my Introduction but for those who haven't seen it this was in the flood in Bundy last year. When this vid was taken I was at home 85ks away with no phone or internet thinking the car I had just bought but not picked up was under 6ft of water or on it's way out to sea. Hence the name. Plus it's black.

It comes into view at about 1.00. To the left is the street where I bought it, the water is lapping the upper floors of the Queenslanders.

Most of mine are just "LJ" or "HB"
But the LC - her name is Gwen after the previous owner, Gwen Stone. She owned her since 6 months old, and really loved her. So when Gwen sold her to me, the name just carried over.
The VC SL/E is croozn, because that's the personalised plates that came in it when we got it

What is it on?
He parked it on the median strip on the Northern approach to Tallon Bridge. It was unregistered so he couldn't move it much further. In the vid you can see the water is getting near the roadway of the bridge, usually there is like a 30 or 40 ft plus drop to the river.
