Never mind Craig and him coming down off the hill....... Will be a great opportunity for the L34 owners to share a bit of cameraderie and showcase some new cars over here.  Great opportunity for you Outer and your car to be reunited with a past driver?

Whaddyamean never mind Craig!! LOL..... How good would that be though. Thunder in the streets of Perth as a bunch of L34's roll into town.
Would be great if this gets traction and the people behind the cars got to get together.

Been thinking about how good it would be to have a week end like the one I had at Phillip Island, that was a stand out week end.
Perth has some great places to cruise to and have a get together, like the Parkerville Hotel in the Perth hills. http://www.parkervilletavern.com.au
And a show and shine at one of the biggest car shows in Perth, the GM Day, would be great for a 40th birthday celebration for the L34.

It's held at Steel Blue Oval in Bassendean and as Wayne said, it's on the 16th of November.
It's an event organised by the Holden Car Club of WA and the Chev Club.

Have a look on the Holden Car Club of WA Facebook page to see photos of the 2012 GM day

What I am thinking is on Saturday we could meet mid morning and have a cruise out to the Perth hills and around the back roads of Mundaring Weir, cross over the Great Eastern Hwy and over to Toodyay Rd and then onto O'Briens Rd and visit the place Peter Brock lost his life. After that we could head back across the way to the Parkerville Tavern for a late lunch, there is good outdoor entertainment and eating there in summer months. Great spot to park cars where we can see them.
After that it would be good to park the cars and all head out for a dinner somewhere nice.

Then onto the GM day on Sunday. I have asked A9X (Welby) if he could have a banner made through his sign company to which he is looking into. I have spoken to the organisers and they are happy for us to park together and put the banner up. I will also looking into what we could have on T-Shirts, would be a good thing to have a shirt to celebrate this event. Much like what Wayne did for all who went to Phillip Island earlier this year for a 40th celebration.

Could any who are interested in going or participating get back to me either with "I like that idea" or "I have a suggestion".

No, don't have to own one. Would be great to see other Torana's out on Saturday.
GM Day will be a massive turn out of GM cars, I hope to get all L34's together in one spot for the show.

Probably not Wayne, LOL. It would be great to have you over though, spare seat waiting for you.

When Perth Street Car magazine ran the story on the Negus HDT hatchback they got a permit and took it for a run down the freeway for the photo shoot. I'll find it and scan the pics if anybody wants.
