Holden actually backed the Jackaroo's in the Australian Safari Rally in 2001 with Peter Brock and Bruce Garland.I wonder if they survived?
Factory backed Jackaroo's ,where are they now?

A mate in WA bought the 05 Jackaroo last year. It had been rolled later in its life, and looks a little worse for wear. I believe it is tucked away to be restored.

Not sure how many HSV Jackaroos were built but i found one a Red one HSV Build 001 at Pick and Payless wreckers in Blacktown around 18 months ago. It was out the back, no crash damage partialy stripped and no doubt off to the crusher. I thought the stickers were just a joke til i found HSV Build tag and owners manual in glove box. As much as i would have loved to pinch the tag i left it. Have photos but too much frigging round.
