LJ Torana Console S SL GTR XU1 Rear or Repo?

I have an LJ Console that I am unsure if it's a reproduction or the real deal. There are no markings or part numbers that I can see. I have enclosed some pics to view. I note the boot is also long grain. Cheers

Hi Ken,
It could be out of a torana S.
On mine i have the H pattern,just behind the boot,my material is roebuck,being a 72.

I think the S, SL and GTR and XU1 all had the same console, just the XU1 had the H pattern sticker behind the boot. I am unsure if the sticker was recessed in or not.

Yes it was on a plastic square,with a locater pin,and the other pin had a thread,and was tighten up from underneath the consul.

And the console in the pic is a genuine one not a repro.

They had them both in 4 and 6 cylinder.

Ok thanks. I think the parts book lists different ones for 4 and 6. Maybe I misread that..

So a 6 or 4 cylinder model?
Your console suits 6cyl with Aussie M20 4spd.
