Should have tried Signature Sway Bars in Sydney, they did make the same bar and clamps for half the price.

darkerheart

just want to share my experience with the above.ordered a sway-bar after reading his website and so you would expect to get what you read.first of all 2-3 weeks takes 7,oh well i can live with that.then after 7 weeks it finally turns up after $550 spent.well, where do i start? he advertisers that it is painted in the original gmh black paint, well mine turns up in bare metal, not linished-grind marks all over it.the end flanges look like a child had a go and supplied with nyloc nuts .for concourse parts i know they are not right.i am totally disgusted with it.looks like something made in a chinese backyard.makes out he is the best in australia, what a joke.i sent a e-mail complaining but as usual no response so another let down .hope no one else wastes their money buying crap.

do you have any pics of the bar???

cheers gong

John,

I don't know what your problem is? You have never ever emailed me! You have only ever purchased parts off me once approx 10 years ago when you came to a Australia and never since. You have not tried to email me through ebay either. I had my website rebuilt in March to fix the email problem and I check my emails approx 4-5 times a day.

Yes I am still in business, flat out actually with the full resto's and parts.

How about picking up the phone instead of taking a cheap shot on a forum, but now don't bother contacting me for anything.

Hhmm... Thinking there's a hidden agenda here.

I don't have time for games like this, so I'm not going to make any further replies.

You dickhead. I never replied to Gong??

The guy in NZ is John. The tank covers I get made are a perfect fit made by a trimmer with 30+ years in the industry, you just have no idea how to fit one.

Brad should have been given constructive criticism actually, that way you're saying that you appreciate the fact that he's trying make these part's available & only want to point out what changes could be made to make the parts spot on ect. Rather than sounding like just having a go at him on a personal level. That is the aim at the end of the day help all the suppliers to get the parts correct. I'm sure if we all speak with each other politely, no one could take things personally. I'm not taking sides I'm just trying to get communication happening smoothly, if i had something i was doing not quite right I'd want the feedback.

I'm not going to take sides either, but I do know that the same trimmer makes the tank covers for another big supplier (not going to name them, but BIG-so not hard to guess) as well.

Couldn't imagine he'd be using 2 different patterns for the same thing. :dontknow:

You should maybe look at how the Rare Spares guys respond to criticism.

This is pretty unprofessional.

Lots of people read this forum, and its not a good look for you.

You could have handled it a bit better, in fact you were actually doing quite well in the earlier pages shutting down the original poster.

Your last post suggests your customer service is sh!thouse.

Just sayin.

Anybody that runs their own business knows that you just cannot please everybody. You try, but there is no pleasing every single person unfortunately. After all, you could be dealing with the next Ivan Milat. These days with social media though, one does have to be very careful about a public response. Fact is, we need more people like Brad reproducing parts for our cars. I have purchased something off him, and I have nothing to complain about. He provides a valuable service. Patience gets the better of all of us sometimes and since I work in IT, I know people do not always receive the email you sent them (especially when it's a bill for some reason (ha). That's when a phone comes in handy.

Sorry, fixed. I should have said, someones else's problem is not necessarily my problem. I have enough of my own.

The few parts over the years I have bought from Brad for my xu1 have all fitted well, and been of the quality advertised, I have even used his WA distributer,
for ease of access on larger or fragile parts , I have used both email and phone.
I would use his devices again , just saying,
