replacing lh dash glass ?

hey guys i bought new dash glass covers from rare spares and they dont clip on at all ,. how do i put the bloody things on without ruining the dash

?

A few drops of super glue on the black edge. Less is more else it spreads and looks shithouse

I used clear 5min araldite very sparingly in small dots around the edge. Super Glue dosnt really flex, the araldite has some give, as the entire assy may twist a smidgen during installation.

CA (superglue) also lets off gasses when curing and can smoke the plastic leaving an opaque smear you will not remove. If you use superglue make sure you put a fan or something on it to remove the fumes.

I have used clear silicone in the past and it bonds well and flex's as above post

My dash repairer told me to use Model glue.

I lost my shit with mine and threw them against the shed wall. Ended up putting the original ones back on.

The ones I got were not even close to fitting. I can't remember though if they were rare spares ones.
