"If"..... if you are going to start with "if", it should be... "If I add a supercharger or turbos later..." :D

I really dig my Edelbrock intake...but if I ever came across a killer deal on a Kenne Bell, Magnacharger, etc I would have the tools out in no time flat, lol

Where can I buy this in Sydney ?
And I forgot to mention another reason for wanting cable throttle body is that at a later date if I decide to remove the fuel injection set up and manifold and fit a hi rise manifold and twin carbs I can with just a tune ....

You may find someone in Sydney who stocks 'em but I'd reckon you'll probably have to source one out of the U.S.? There's one on eBay right now but he wants over ninety bucks to post it!

I don't think I'd ever go back to actual carbies, injection is just so "tuneable". If you wanted the 'old skool' look then go with those four-barrel throttle bodies that bolt up to an old fashion manifold and keep the injection, although I'm not sure if an old Gen III PCM would run them, you may end up having to swap the computer anyway?

Pffft....if you want old fashion run a 308 and a 600 holley...lol.

Stick to injection with an LS IMO at least.

Well its been a looooong time, cant believe how time flies
So its all running but a few bits more needs to be done such as completing the fan relay wiring, it is connected but not properly.
I have put the car back on the ground and drove it 1 meter forward and 1 meter back lol as I have the doner commodore in front and LX Hatch shell behind me.
Exhaust is done, twin 2.5 inch into a single 3 inch, Hooker muffler then some stainless rear muffler out back. Not loud but a nice note.
Exhaust tip has an old school turn down which I started to like when I saw LJ355 car when it was red years ago :)

Thanks BK :)
As you can see its no show stopper but hope to make a good cruiser and fairly fuel efficient compared to the old 308 carby as I will drive it fairly regularly

My junk exhaust pipe
Basically reused the existing 2.5 inch pipe from the Statesman and some new mandrel 3 inch bends for the diff housing section. Chop chop and weld
Its a twin 2.5 which goes into single 3 inch.

Rear muffler with 3 inch pipeing

Ground and welded the inside of the flange so the nuts and bolt heads wouldn't interfere with weld bead.
