I figured we havent had a drag day for about a year so why not have a lane organised or at least get a few forum members running and a catch up
Some ACT boys are looking to come up on the 31st.
Gates open 9am. It can get busy so you need to be through the gate at 9am or you may miss out. Only 220 cars allowed.
Lets make a list!!
1. Mitch - VX SS
2. Jeff - Miller Race Car or Monaro.
3. Dean - VE SV6 Turbo

So how does that work Tiny? First 20 on the list? If you have a 1 lane booked, how do we race eachother? Forgive my ignorance!

When the officials stage the cars, they do it one lane at a time, so all cars in lane 1 go through together. When all the cars are finished in that lane, they send lane 2 through etc etc. Normally a private lane is lane 5.
If you have someone you want to race, make sure you are in front or behind them and just let the official know and they will filter you accordingly.

Have to confirm but normally as you do your paperwork, you mention you're with gmh-torana and they write it down, so when you go through scrutineering they can write our lane on your window so we will line up together.

Sorry for the dumb ass question but when your car gets scrutineered what do they look for??

No a stupid question mate!
ALWAYS they will check helmet for compliance (I'll find the current helmet rules and try put them here).
They will check throttle return spring
battery secured
Gearbox lockout (Auto lockout works - does not start in gear)
radiator overflow bottle (Radiator does not overflow on to ground) - and no intercooler sprayers or anything like that.
I think that's about it!
