Yep thats right I put it in but need to get it out and cannot figure it out .

the lock is not working - rares lock so i need to pull it out, can someone help with this as it must be similar to the steering column, where by you press in the tab ?

tried to find that but the tab dosen't seem to push in - I'm obviously stupid

so if anyone can assist with some technical details then that would be appreciated - it was working and my kids had something to do with it now not working

it's just that the lock seems to be " locked and not turn to operate the internal lever " and i have tried to " unlock with the key"

the glove box is open and not shut

.....just to cheer you up Grant...

...the orig. one in my LJ was playing up...so with the help of the forum..I removed it ( see other thread).

Replaced it with a new one from a well know supplier of spares that are rare.....it didn't work.....only way to get it out was with a grinder...sorry

Before anyone gets the grinder out....

I had put mine in the wrong way too and looked doomed to destroying the lock but after using this tool in the lock barrel she released.
