Two questions...

1) Anyone tried to have splits like the following repaired in their original trim.....?. I have two splits (result of a knee in the seat), rest of the trim in the car is original and perfect so I do not want to replace with new.

2) Anyone recommend a top trimmer, one of those old school trimmers who is good at these type of repairs. Do not care where they are located.

Cheers

I'm a trimmer in SW SYD that's a replacement panel at best & doing repairs on old seats like that have many risk. The reason why is because of the type stitch used. That is a top stitch which means it was sewn from the top & that gives you nothing to play with with that sort repair.
