Hey doods,
About to order some underlay for my LH.
I will have my two young daughters in my car regularly so after a good insulated underlay.
Anyone got any feedback for me on this stuff?

http://www.ebay.com....tm/161326609713

My pipes are pretty close to the floor (as most guys would be) and would like to avoid it getting too hot in the cabin over summer.

Thanks in advance
Brett

Never used it,but when we did ours we used a coconut fiber based under lay,was easy to belt into shape and worked well, never really

had too much of a heat problem but you could just feel the heat from the pipes at times because they do run pretty close.

I can't comment on how good it actually is because I haven't driven my car yet but I used dynamat Xtreme, it's suppose to be good.

I was reading somewhere how not all these underlays are ADR approved for use in motor vehicles due to toxic gases & or flammability concerns, So do your homework as a few extra bucks spent now could save you heaps in the long run......

Great Point Andrew,

Never thought about the underlay conformation.

so that puts the fluffy rubber back bathroom carpet out of the question

I used some stuff from rare spares,it's sort of like pink bat material with a sticky back, only black, it sticks like shit to a blanket.....to the paper that's supposed to protect it pulling all the glue off,i ended up using contact adhesive,it's a bitch to cut and a bitch to get ya seat bolts through,it galls up on the bolts and forget trying to drill through it,other than that it seems pretty good
