Hi guys,

Thought I'd post this here for interests sake. If anyone is keen to come down for a look you are more than welcome. Should anyone be interested in running their car, I'm told there's still a handful of spots left too. We should have quite a few Torana's on the day as usual.

Here's the details below from the Eastside Cruisers forums:

When: Sat 26th July 2014
Where: Goodguys Performance Centre: Factory 3/2 Gatwick Rd, Bayswater
Time: 8am onwards
Price: $40 for Eastside Cruisers members / $60 for non-club members

This will get you 3 consecutive runs on the dyno.

The Torana BBQ trailer will be there with bacon & egg sandwiches for brekky and sausages for lunch. Plus cans of soft drink.

Prizes will be awarded for the highest horsepower, Lenny's choice and an encouragement award.

Bring one car or bring many, but make sure you get in quick to reserve your spot on the day as there is around 30 timeslots available. If you require a spot within a specific time frame please let us know and we will try and fit you in.

There will also be a guess the HP competition on the day, with a car that has not yet been on a dyno. It will be $2.00 per guess with the winner being the person to guess the closest power without going over. With a cool $50.00 voucher being awarded to the winner.

If you have any queries about the day feel free to ask any of the committee members.

See you on the rollers!

Sounds like a great day Brett. Unfortunately I am working a 12hr night shift on the Saturday night so it makes it difficult to come, would have loved to though.

I'll probably come down. Live close so it's handy...won't be putting the car on the rollers but will swing down.

Ah shit. Sorry Wayno, forgot to take pics. Saw 4 or 5 really nice toranas....too much late model stuff but the old girls were out in force, including Brett's beast. I only stuck around for about 30 mins as I was busy this morning.

I ended up going in2 work 4 a couple hrs & it was raining pretty heavy so I decided not to go. Bayswater is about 50min drive 4 me so I just helped clean up the house.

Cheers, Nig.

Yeah a good handful of old muscle there competing against all the new school rides this year. Lots of cars making upwards of 350 and 400 rwkw.

Makes my old bucket look piss peak at 231 rwkw!! Lol.

Will try to post up a couple of pics when I get a chance.

231 rwkw is still more than what my VE SS makes after a tune. Mine has 214kw at the treads.
Yours still makes for some good old school fun!!!!!

( and I bet yours would get more looks too ;) )
