great old footage....Moffatt obviously tryin his arse off..but the XU1 just too fast on that windy track.

Never got to that track...surprised how fast the XU1 was, the Fowl-can didn't really even make much ground in the straights.

Do you know what happened to the track Col?

I've been trying to find out (not too hard), but have asked a few times and no one seems to really know.

Do you know if it is the same Warwick farm that has the horse racing now?

They had it reduced down to half a track in the 70s.

Did my first advanced driving course there.

Had the end of the straight, right hand hair pin then a couple of corners.

Turn around and go back.

2 way traffic.

Dirt skid pan in the middle of the hairpin.

Wasnt as much fun as Amaroo.

One of the most technically challenging circuits Australia has had. Bondy was a master of it. I was actually there that day in '72. The silver with pink fluoro writing LJ's looked a treat!

Craig, if you use Google Earth, you can still see parts of the car track on the infield of the horse racing track.
