i was there brad,frOck it was hot and humid.the only thing that pisses me off was if you wanted to get a drink or something to eat you had to purchase tickets and if you went to get a drink they would not accept money.

I took a 3 x 3 gazebo and an esky with food and water. Was a really nice breeze blowing.

Was nice down near the burnout pad. Was a cooler day than the members only day a few weeks back.

of course it would be cooler underneath a gazebo,i was out in the sun all day with a hat on and there was no breeze at all.i was every where from the start line to the burn out pad and there was no breeze what so ever.

Yeah I was pretty comfortable. I saw a lady almost get speared in the back by the leg of a gazebo that got blown away. Was pretty windy. She was pretty shaken up. I had to put two pegs into each leg of ours to keep it down.

Yeah we left at about 4:30pm. We had quite a clear view down at the burnout pad. We got there a bit late around 10am, so couldn't set the gazebo up any closer to the start line.

This weekend it's gunna happen. Was good to see all the team trucks roll through town this arv and everyone out to welcome them on the side of the road.

Awesome Brad, good to see that someones got the balls to build new tracks. Calder Park is so run down these days that I fear it may even close in the near future. Thank god for Heathcote raceway. That must be one sticky track Brad.
