Hi All,   

          Has anyone had their steering wheel, with similar damage to the picture below, repaired? If so who did the work and what was the result like?

I think there is an epoxy repair kit around that fills the gaps, IMO you would have to be pretty skillful for a great outcome.

There is a mob that does them but if can't remember who. They also do pearled wheels so if you can find someone who does that chances are they can repair them as well.

I had the same problem and fitted a GTR wheel to mine .

I bought the wheel already done at a car club meeting , so can't help , the place I rang on the south coast NSW years ago wanted $800

There was a sticker on the back of the company ill have to have a look. Im pretty sure they do repairs as well.

Hey Steve your car looks mint for an original interior! Is this a 4 cylinder car? Got any more pics? Good luck with the steering wheel, hope you can keep it original.

Can you imagine having a really crappy connection and trying to access it? Go through that painful animation and terrible audio. 

 

Dont get me wrong it's aesthetically pleasing, but a bit complicated.
