I was doing a caliper overhaul and when I putting in the piston it was so tight.

how tight should it be??

should you able to push it hand??

Yep... finger pressure is all thats required to put a piston back in

2 fingers... firm... but not tight

Are you using brake caliper assembly lube or whatever it is called?

I brought some assembly lube a bit hard to get started but went in easy

I just rebuilt some 4 piston calipers off a 120 series Landcruiser for my Hilux, assembly lube made it easy.

stupid as it sounds hyd ports are not blocked

I've rekitted numerous calipers over the years, from HQ PBR, HZ Girlock and VN. I've never been able to push the pistons in with my fingers, always tried but had to use a G clamp... with fresh brake fluid. Pistons always nice and clean.
