It was indeed a great afternoon!

 

Dave I, you've excelled in the photo department as far as capturing pretty much every single Torana within a 5km radius of the event.

 

that black 57 Chevy with number plates ONEMPTY sounded nuts

Thank-you and was a Big Day Out Alek's, and have summorize some chat here,

 

I walked around the speed dome 6 times I recon, which got a bit rushed in the end, as Cars were leaving at 4pm,

 

 even at 3pm a couple here and there left, and most people were lined up for coffee.

 

Was thinking how others would think if I didn't take any Photo's, so I took 1, and then 2 and then 3, so on and so forth,

 

and seen a lot of professional photographers there too, some having an 1/2 metre long lens.

 

People were giving way to those taking pictures as well as waiting for others in turn I noticed,

 

 never heard a bad word about taking pictures either which its makes for a good day.

 

 

Gene heard that black 57 chev go off its head, you can say that it was in tune too, he dropped it at the roundabout, bloody loud,

 

 that black chev was running on avgas, as you could smell it after he went past us.

 

Couldn't find that white chevy that had driven around wether arriving or was leaving, the rev/idle supercharger, sounded like at idle driving,

 

 she was reving to 4000rpm, and then dropping to 1000rpm, over and over, tuff as, everybody was peering from the next hill,

 

 as the sound filled the Dome, and I said to a bloke there, fuel starving sounds good hey.

 

 

There was a great amount of Custom and Hotted up Cars, and even an 59 El Camino too.

I thought that slr may have been trailered. far out there were allot of nice cars there.
