I picked up this LJ radio recently, but can't say I've seen too many others like this around?.

 

The window includes station markings for WA and SA(?) radio stations of the era, so good chance it was originally from a Adelaide built car.

 

Anyone else seen something similar?

Used to be good those little buttons. Pull them out to set your station and press in when changing preset stations, not much has changed really..just have to hold the button in these days.

I had a HQ belmont wagon with one of those radios in it many years ago .

I'd say it's not an LJ radio. That looks better than the LJ version which are the ugliest part of interior IMO. Happy to go without due to that. Marty

It's wearing an LJ trim plate to suit the opening in the LJ dash pad.

AFAIK GMH had State specific dial face plates available so a Dealer could install a locality specific dial face plate if the customer so desired.
