The misses and I went to an antique and collectibles fair today and I spotted this program. I wanted it I ummed and aarred went our separate ways and I thought bugger it I'll have it,  went back to get it and it wasn't there I said ah frock it, oh wasn't meant to be. When we got home my darling wife gave me the program, how happy was I. The program is in excellent condition, probably paid to much but the look on my face was worth it, apparently.

The contents include a interview with Brocky, the new rules, entry list, driver profiles and many other stories. The program even had a progress position and grid position lift out.

The program is pretty good (Ford won) but your wife is certainly a keeper.

Cost a bit more than 80c but a bit less than $ 125, $ 46 actually. Yeah she's all right, better the devil you know I say.

This made for a good read, especially the Torana mods, I didn't know that the front rotors could be changed to ventilated discs, let us know if this is correct.

Cheers

Good old info...I have that programme...but don't ever recall reading that story!..doh.

Guess the mods, particularly the brake mods allowed under the ""new"" Group C rules back in 1973, are the basis of the current
Group Nc rules that see most XU1s running the Volvo / BMW brake mods, that fit into the rules today.

Thanks fellas for the kind replies.

With regards to the use of ventilated dics, Were they made especially for them, or were they the precursor for the up coming LH or was it to early?

Thanks.John.
