What is available?

Who does the best ones?

Which ones should be avoided?

Who supplies the good ones, both over the counter and online?

Thanks gents.

Durapro from precision, good luck getting a race series set that isn't an inflated price.
I buy an enduro tech set and just the durapro h/g by itself.

^ I think you are right, had a bit of a look for ACL stuff but no race series stuff, expect to pay premium for what is left,ACL aparantly stopped making

gasket kits over a year ago.Only word of mouth but was told Federal Mogul took over parts of the company after Mahle assumed the former part

of the company.

bloody shame, they used to make some decent products.

Permaseal is what I'm using at the moment, graphite gasket, stick like shit to a blanket. I tried looking for ACL race series, but everyone that had them advertised had nil supply. I got mine from here www.sparespro.com.au he is a local seller in town.

My understanding ACL is gone , what is left is it!
I was lucky I picked plus 001" big end bearing ACL race series , the guy at repco told me about ACL, as to gaskets I found Permatec to be good, the trick with any head surface is to oil stone before assembly, and don't use air gasket strippers

Refreshing this thread a little, for those interested.

Satisfying my curiosity as to who actually makes Durapro Head Gaskets... that i read people are favouring, lead me on a google search mission that did not reveal much, but a quantity of resellers.

So, I sent a contact email to AA Gaskets in Victoria. They replied back to say

"Hi Jason,
Duropro are made for precision by aa gaskets."

AA Gaskets are also the manufacturer of brands Permaseal, Crossfire and MLS-R, as below link.

Haven't seen one of those head gaskets in a while, can't be many left now.
The only thing good about that set is the head gasket, everything else is just the same as any other brand really.
Wouldn't pay 700 for it tho, id rather buy two MLS head gaskets for that price.
