Hello,

Thank you for letting me sign up to this forum.

I have a question, I have a customer who has given me a 1973 Torana GTR dash cluster to restore, and he has asked me to re highlight the redline on the tacho and the "e" on the fuel, the "h" on the temp etc....

Would anyone know if this was a red or more of a orange.

I have restored GTS dash in the past and they were a red. But thought I would sign up here and ask the experts.

Closer to red, like a 'hot' red with a matte kind of finish that quickly fades to the orange you usually see.

I have taken a new old stock (NOS) guage into a hobby store and matched up this colour and totally happy with it.
I'll try find a picture of the paint tin.
