Is there any possibility of making the LJ windscreen wiper switch /pumps.

All the ones I've seen have one or both problems of the pump mechanism not working or the switch for turning the wipers on has bad contacts and only works on one speed or when you jiggle the knob (that doesn't sound good).

I'm sure that these would be worthwhile item to add to the parts already available.

I mention it only because when I imported my 63 Chev pickup, all the switches were rooted.

I replaced them all with switches out of a HR that I had laying about.

They all plugged straight into the harness, knobs were interchangeable.

Dunno if the listed switch will work, but try cruising the repo GM part sites in the US.

You might just get lucky.

Thanks for the suggestions. Those may be suitable for some Lc's, but the correct Lj ones have the hoses plugging into the back of the switch and a manual pump mechanism inside the switch.
