Hi all I am a recent new member so forgive me if this question is a no brainer  but I purchased an Lj 2 door with no trim 25 years ago I have almost completed a full rotisserie rebuild on this car, I finally received my door trims and I wasn't aware of the 2 holes in the door cards (rear section near wheel well behind front doors) did the Lj GTR have door handles there where there is no door?? they are exactly the same width apart as the front doors(the holes) so this is what I am guessing? or is there another answer? I checked my car it does have holes in the body there for something help as I don't want to fit handles if they didn't have them

Cheers Herb

Bit of both perhaps? On the 8xx11 model doors they are generally used to pull the door closed but in the rear of an 8xx11 model the only useful purpose they serve is as an armrest and a pretty poor excuse for one at that. :)
