Hi Todd, my rear window is not pretty either. They definitely have their problem areas and them some.

It's a fair bit of work to repair but it's also rewarding when you finish a repair and are happy with the results.

Hi Mav, great work. Have started rust repairs on mine so I share your pain. Have you made a decision on flares? My 2c, your car do whatever you like.

Thanks Mark, at this stage I'm leaning towards flares as I love big rubber, I have changed my mind more than once though lol

Small update:

Reconstructed the under panel of passenger rear lower quarter. Did it in multiple segments and found this worked well rather than shaping one piece of metal.

still working on the outer pannel

Hi Laurie, I've had a pretty busy first half of the year but have recently spent a bit of time on the car and hoping to finish of the shell rust repairs by the end of the year (sounds good in theory ;)). Still have to do my rear window, tail light buckets, rad support and plenum.

I've finished repairing both real lower quarters and boot floor. About to start paint stripping the undercarriage and putting some KBS on. Looking forward to seeing some fresh paint go on, even if it is only underneath  :D

Hey Mag
It's been awhile since I've been on here regularly and it's good to see that your still plugging along with you rust repairs & doing a great job at that mate, keep up the good work
Cheers Aaron
