So what style of seatbelt bolt covers should early 73 Brissy built LJ XU1s have. I've seen short, long, some with hooks to hang the belt on, some with grain & some smooth.
My car had mixture of smooth & grain so I'm a bit stumped.

To answer your conundrum -

 

both covers are smooth [ no grain , no hooks ]

 

132 MM long as installed give or take a few snatch hairs from my local ladies Brazilian studio.

Are those snatch hairs light or dark, as the lighter ones seem to be thinner than the darker ones...
