Hi would any members have the location measurements for mounting LJ mirrors on doors. I found this information on the forum some time back . but I can not find it now Thanks for any help Bob NZ

Neil, LC mirror stems are completely different to LJ and mounted in a different location on the door.

 

Finding original mounting dimensions for the LJ side mirrors seems to be an impossible task.

Figured they would be different

 

With so many "original" cars around surely someone could go take some measurements

just had a look at my old dr skin,holes appear to be original so lets see some figures to compare

 

mine is 240 mm from centre of hole to outside of skin

 

and if that is close to other vehicles ,i would then just use my plastic mount to mark the rear
