So here's my problem. Got a brand spankers painless wiring loom for the sisters SL/R and while most of it is fairly self explanatory I can't work out what colour wires coming out of the headlight switch should attach to the new loom. Same goes for the ignition plug set up on the column.

Any help would be tops.

Electrical isnt too hard to do if you spend a bit of time studying it.

Just remember that all electrical components are filled with smoke at the factory.

Dont let the smoke out.

You want unfused power to the light switch. But you will still need a fusible link in the main power feed.

Before attempting anything go and buy a proper set of crimpers for the non insulated lugs.

The existing terminals can be removed from the plugs with a paper clip or small screwdriver

might need more info regarding new loom and destructions supplied with it,do they give "their loom colors" to orig.plug color or do they have

a whole new set of colors that you need to mix and match to suit the plug/s you have/need ?

never used a new loom so don't really know how they are supposed to work!.

Need to be the right ones for non insulated lugs.

Not quite so easy to find.

The insulated type wont work properly.

Just checking you have the right ones.

Just be careful as even expensive crimpers don't always work and can cause allot of problems down the track.
On another note I just read your build thread. Wow what a story! Awesome read and absolutely love the car!
