Hi All,

Just though I'd let everyone know that Heritage Touring Cars will be running at this years Australian F1 Grand Prix at Albert Park 12 - 15th March.

The info I have at the moment is we will be running twice on Thursday ( Practice & Qualifying ) with a race on the Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

The grid will be made up of 40 cars (20 Group A & 20 Group C)

Of the Group C cars there should be 5 x Toranas, 5 x Commodores, 5 x Falcons & 5 x Japanese Cars.

Should be a great event and I reckon the noise will probably top anything else out there!

If anyone's around drop in and say Hi.

Regards Jeff

Sounds like fun, too bad I stopped going to GP after they started running turbos and will probably never go again.

Aren't they supposed to be changing the sound of the cars this year even though they still have the turbo?

Watched the three Toranas 2xA9X's and a L34 belt down the straight at albert park First time i've seen a Torana race car in full flight. (I was born post torana era)  They sounded awesome it was my highlight of the day. Thanks to the owners for racing them and not holding back!. :-)

Yeah was great watching the boys out the.. unfortunately couple blokes ran out of talent and and some damage was done. . Few prangs avoided also by people paying attention.

l had a great day at the GP on Sunday. Jeff produced an inspired drive from the back of the grid to finish second in Group C after having to replace the gearbox and diff on Saturday afternoon. Happily the Cullen/Jones Commodore is still in one piece for Bathurst in three weeks. Many thanks for your hospitality Jeff.

Apart from the old cars the rest of it reminded me of the 12th mans take up of Murray Walker.
