G'day all

 

Picked up some histerical photos the other day and his gem was in there

 

Hume Weir starting grid, not a bad line-up eh,  :spoton:

What year would that be?

 

I'm guessing 69-71 but that could be an LJ at the back of the field?

I have another pic of that "LC" in the background but will reveal that later as it is a fairly substantial historic car as some will agree so are the front liners

Going back over some of the slides I found that there were a few pics of race cars on trailers near the Empress Of Tasmania so Baskerville is right

 

There are more LC XU-1's with "POW WOW" and "CIG" on the side of a blue one with name of driver hard to read but looked like Geoff Lane or Lamb but hopefull will find out when I get them back on Disc

 

red one of Ross Woodbridge and another yellow one of Bryan Thomson with a huge rear wing and looking a bit weird is Barry Sharp's red Falcon going around the track on 3 wheels ie one missing

 

Hopefully get these back next week and they should be a lot better in focus as I took these pics of the slides only using a viewfinder
