Knock the studs out, take to a machine shop, they weld up the holes and drill new ones. Then fit new studs. Best to use a shop that does it a lot, must be accurate.

what brakes do you have and what condition they are ?. post some pics if your not sure

You could also change the disc rotors and axles; off to ebay with your old ones.

As you already know you'll need a blue slip & if you get some guy who knows what he's looking at he tell to have it ENGINEERED for the 9" diff & Commodore front brakes if your running them.
So what I'm saying is make it look as look as standerd as possible for the bluey.
